The weekly market is still a meeting point, the terraces on the village square fill up at coffee time, and the fincas and mills around it recall the farming past. Everyday life is covered: Mercadona, Eroski, Lidl and the local shops in the centre, the Centre de Salut Xaloc with its 24-hour emergency service in the village. There are no international schools in Campos itself; the well-known ones in Palma are 35 to 40 minutes away, the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor around 25.
