Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we store your name, email and message solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not share this data with third parties.
Hosting
The site is hosted on servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH, Nuremberg location). The host processes technical access data (IP, user agent, timestamp) for operational security. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address to send you posts. We use a double opt-in: after signup we send you a confirmation link, only then are you on the list. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Dispatch goes through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent).
Concierge chat (Clara)
On the site Clara, an AI-powered concierge, greets you. Whatever you write to Clara is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate an answer, and is not used for model training. We do not persist the chats. If you'd rather not pass data through that channel, simply use the contact form or write directly to nathalie@almabalear.com.
Data processors
The following providers process data on our behalf, each under an Art. 28 GDPR data-processing agreement: Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen (Germany) for server hosting. Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco (USA) for CDN, DNS and bot protection, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Brevo / Sendinblue SAS, Paris (France) for newsletter dispatch. Anthropic PBC, San Francisco (USA) for the concierge chat. IONOS SE, Montabaur (Germany) for domain registration.
No trackers
We do not use marketing cookies, Google Analytics or social-media pixels. No advertising trail is left behind from visiting this site.
