Our one exception on the coast — outside our rural heartland, but too special not to show. A contemporary new-build project in a sought-after part of Cala Vinyes, on a slope falling gently towards the sea, designed by the architecture studio Crui Arquitectura. Across four levels and around 788 m² of living space (plot approx. 1,800 m²), stone, wood and glass frame the view — the Mediterranean becomes the protagonist of every room. Five bedrooms plus two more, nine bathrooms, a 17-metre infinity pool with sea views — and from the highest point of Cala Vinyes every room looks out to sea. The new build is around 95% complete. The house deliberately subordinates itself to the landscape. The ground floor flows between living, kitchen and dining through floor-to-ceiling glass onto terraces and the pool. The bedroom level is conceived as a calm, light-filled retreat. The roof terrace crowns the house with a solarium, lounge, grill and whirlpool — panorama over coast and hills.
The lower level is not a basement but a floor of its own to live in: a gym, sauna and hammam, a wine cellar, cinema and games rooms, and a garage with a turntable. Materials, light and a flowing connection to the rest of the home make it an inner retreat.
